Purpose of Service

If you have been made redundant or are facing redundancy, we offer a range of services designed to assist you to find a new job. 

The majority of the services are delivered on site at the employer's premises (if you are about to be made redundant) or at one of our training centres.  By using a combination of interactive workshops and one-to-one consultations, our consultants will equip you with the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to ease the transition from redundancy to a new job.

We work closely with Government agencies such as the Learning and Skills Council and Jobcentre Plus and can assist you in drawing in as much support as you need.

What can the Service can do for Clients

The service and Guidance offered is tailored to meet the needs of each individual affected and can include any or all of the following:

• Staff pooling; providing temporary work while you seek a permanent job
• Skills analysis to establish your existing competencies
• Job Matching Service and search across a range of different media
• CV preparation and application form completion techniques, ensuring that you know how to promote yourself
• Promoting Yourself to Employers or Interview Techniques Training: particularly useful to those who haven't had to apply for a job recently.
• Accredited Occupational and non-accredited training in high demand skill areas
• Starting a new business for those who decide to work for themselves
• Grants, Funding and Benefits advice for those who are struggling to find alternative paid work

Eligibility

In order to access the Redundancy Support service clients must meet the criteria below:
Facing Redundancy or
Have Recently Been Made Redundant
