Purpose of Service
Aspire, our award winning, in-house, social and ethical recruitment agency, offers a unique service. We can provide jobseekers with access to independently-sourced vacancies unavailable to the wider job market.
You will be able to apply for current positions, which Aspire are recruiting to on behalf of local employers. Although we work on the same professional lines as other high street recruitment agencies, we offer a more personal and ethical service and will work hard to arrange new assignments for you if your current one ends.
We work with organisations to review how they recruit and retain their staff. Our commitment to local recruitment means that we work with various companies to change how, and who, they recruit as well as to support the ongoing development of their existing staff.
We operate from sites across Greater Manchester and have access to vacancies not only from traditional recruitment sources (internet job boards and media advertising) but also from a wide range of partner organisations advising local employers.
A significant number of people registered with Aspire for temporary work are previously unemployed Manchester residents who have completed Work Solutions employability programmes. As a not for profit organisation and a member of the REC (Recruitment and Employment Confederation) we are dedicated to ethical standards of delivery.
Aspire operates on exactly the same basis as the nationally recognised temporary staff and recruitment agency brands but with a quite different financial model. Aspire does not have shareholders and therefore surpluses generated by the agency are used to finance employment and skills programmes delivered by other arms of the organisation.
What the Service can do for Clients
Clients are able to apply for current positions that Aspire are recruiting for via the Work Solutions Website. Although we work on the same professional lines as other high street agencies, we offer a more personal and ethical service and will work hard to line up new assignments as your existing one ends.
Our Aspire service offers access to:
- Temporary 'Temp to Perm' and Permanent vacancies in our Job Matching Service
- Our CV Workshops aimed at clients developing an existing or creating a new CV
- Employers of all types and sizes offering vacancies currently.
- Consultation assistance and Guidance in terms of CV preparation, application form completion and Interview Skills.
- Ongoing training and NVQ qualifications (including fully Accredited Occupational Training, assessments and certification in many occupational areas) once you enter employment.
- A unique temp to perm Recruitment Service, which allows you to prove yourself to an employer in order to gain permanent employment.
