Now that's something to celebrate!

Work Solutions celebrates 10 years in business by helping over 30,000 unemployed people into work.

Work Solutions celebrated in style this month to mark a magnificent double achievement.  This year sees Work Solutions mark both its 10 year anniversary, and the impressive achievement of having placed over 30,000 unemployed local residents into work.  These two milestone achievements were celebrated on 16th June at the Gorton Monastery in East Manchester.  The event was attended by 265 Work Solutions staff, guest speaker Abby Jones, Deputy Regional Director of the National Treatment Agency (NTA), and Work Solutions delivery partner Serco. 

Work Solutions' 30,000th customer into work, Billy Cheetham, was presented with an award by Jo Asphall, Sercos' Senior Contract Manager, to celebrate the achievement. Billy found work earlier this year after engaging with Work Solutions' Flexible New Deal programme in Trafford, delivered in partnership with Serco. After 9 months unemployed, Billy found work with MITIE cleaning company

Work Solutions success in working in partnership to support local unemployed people find work was commended by Abby Jones, Deputy Regional Director of the National Treatment Agency (NTA). Abby delivered an address to commend Work Solutions' partnership with drug treatment provider CRI, and Work Solutions' resulting successful delivery of the P.E.T.E. substance misuse employability service in Wigan and Leigh.
